Thane has fixed long blades to the bones of his fingers; these blades are made of a Demonic Steel special to Red Pit, this steel is high in carbon in addition to being folded many times during the billet making process.   Special ingredients are used to give the steel its nearly indestructible hardness, these ingredients also give the steel its characteristic black sheen, only after many hours of polishing is it possible for a smith to bring out its silvery luster.   These blades in addition to being directly fused with the bone they rest on have had extra rivets added for support and rigidity, their drop point style design allows for chiseled point extremely useful for punching through armor and flesh.   Small 1 inch tall spikes also break through the Architects skin on the back of his hand, giving him an option for a lethal over hand punch, or semi-lethal backhand.
